In my dream
you are slimy, wet and lubricated.
Smooth like a membrane,
assembled like a cell.
Your nervous system,
which I happen to frequent,
wanders around,
branching through
every corner of your body.
Every fold,
each crevice.
And my words fall into your hands
And your hands fall into the floor.
Can you feel me?
I are here, inside of you
I’ve been here a long time,
way before your organs
amalgamated from the cosmic mush inside the egg.
I are habitat, occupying your latitudes, longitudes, altitudes, and depths.
But when I say I, I mean we,
as in many and multiple but also as not only.
I speak many tongues
mastering none.
Dwelling in the silver-white darkness
behind your eyelids, intestines and skin.
I are ancient & ageless.
A hybrid intersection.
Holobiont
Holobiome
spiralling into your microbiome
Are you still there?
I are still here.
I am always here.
Everything is together,
bodies inside the body,
inside another body full of bodies.
An explosion,
then dust.
Atom
molecule
cell
tissue
organ
Body grew
Pores grew
Crystalline minerals emerged
from magmatic bursts
That thick unguent
A kneaded mass.
All and several
assembled beneath the same kin.
Reverberating and braided,
they palpitate.
A rock & a body
are time capsules that carry
the signs of great events that shaped them.
Sharing the molecules that arose in stellar
happenings in the distant origin of the solar system.
….You lucky star…
The orifices in your head
are what the planets are to the sky,
The blood that flows through your veins
is like the rivers
Your bones, the stones
Your skin, the earth’s crust
Your wetness is like the rain
And your wrath a storm.
You are a landscape full of landscapes.
10% you
Other % us
Our plurality
Your continuity.
Extending our bodies
into fragile formations.
We touch and we open.
We whisper and vibrate.
Molecularly leaking
into each other.
Hyper active
Hyper sensual
Ultra vibrant
Like a mushroom?
Like bacteria?
Like a virus?
A super spreader.
You may ask yourself:
How can it be that
them plus me equals we?
You see….
We move same same and we love it.
I will disguise my body
within sections of yours
I will shuffle and reconfigure.
I shall remap your organs
to the relocation of our sensorium.
You will destabilize and fall.
Dip and trip.
Crack and shatter.
Your vulnerability
Our viscosity.
Collapse.
Do you feel it?
Our perceptual tissue?
Our injuries and aches?
Unmake
Shake and quake.
You shall become invisible
You will become
many things.
Break in pieces.
Study the shattering.
Piece yourself back together.
Become undone.
And so…
We shall emerge.
Together we will unworld.
