Metamorphoses

Installation

‘‘I want to see something different’’ - Said Other followed by a swarm of silence.

Self felt the sensible matter of her flesh expanding, disintegrating, dislocated and eerie. ‘‘I want you to care less about me’’ - Added Other - ‘‘Show me the unknown, the unstructured body, open-ended, interrelational, transspecies’’.

Metamorphoses is a poetic exploration of an organism of representations and vestiges of intelligent matter, equipped with the power to affect and be affected, interrelating and generating new dialogues. Representing a self-transformative entity which is not one but multiple,

not centred but multidirectional and fluid, a body that is no longer part of the ‘human family’ but rather a zoo of post-humanities. A leaky body, a body without organs, one that can not be reduced to the sum of its parts. A sympoietic body, where its limits are explored. Inside and outside merge. Expanding, replicating, disrupting, dissolving.
